LAURIE BLANCHET, Clarinet

Canadian clarinetist Laurie Blanchet joined the clarinet section of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic in 2022 and is currently acting as principal clarinetist. She has performed with many orchestras including the Chicago, Detroit, Montréal, Toronto, Milwaukee, Nashville, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Columbus Symphony Orchestras and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

She was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago (the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s training orchestra) and a former military musician with the Canadian Army Forces.
